• Identification Requirements
It is the sole responsibility of each guest to identify and obtain all required traveldocuments and have them available when necessary. A valid non-expired passport isrequired for all U.S. and Canadian citizens. U.S. Alien Residents need a valid Alien Resident Card in addition to a passport. Any guest without proper documentation will notbe allowed to board (copies do not count) the vessel and no refund of the cruise fare willbe issued. Bare Necessities assumes no responsibility for advising passengers ofdocumentation requirements. Non U.S. citizens should contact the nearest representative embassy or consulate office regarding required documentation.

• Fuel Surcharge
At this time, based on the current fuel market, Carnival Cruise Lines does not anticipate afuel surcharge to be implemented. However, should the cost of fuel dramatically increasebefore the cruise date, it is possible a fuel surcharge could be necessary. In that event thefuel surcharge will be added to your shipboard account. Such amount will not exceed $10 per person per day.
• Air Transportation
American Airlines is offering Bare Necessities passengers a 5% discount off of theirlowest applicable fares into Ft. Lauderdale. This discount is not valid in conjunction with other offers. You can make reservations by calling 800-433-1790. The authorization number required in order to obtain the discount is A2221BN. Reservations can also be booked online at www.aa.com using the promotional code 75H1BH. To avoid anyunforeseen flight delays it is recommended that you consider flying into Ft. Lauderdaleone day prior to the cruise.
• Embarkation and Disembarkation
Embarkation will begin at approximately 11:30AM (EST). The gangway will close at3:00PM (EST), and the ship will sail at 4:00 PM (EST).

Premier Parking is available for $7.50 per day. Contact them directly via email at premiercruisepark@bellsouth.net or call 800-435-3195 using the assigned rate code (FF211).
Parking is also available at the Midport Parking Garage. The cost is $15.00 per day. No advance reservation is required.
The Ft. Lauderdale International Airport is only 2 miles from Port Everglades, and is ashort and inexpensive taxi ride to the ship. Transfers are also available through Carnival for $15.00 per person each way, or $30.00 roundtrip. This can be done online once we have advised you of your booking number (approximately 30 days prior to departure.)
The Miami International Airport is approximately 30 miles from Port Everglades. Transfers can be purchased through Carnival for $30.00 per person each way, or $60.00 roundtrip. If you have a choice, the Ft. Lauderdale airport is your best option.
Disembarkation will begin at 7:00 AM on November 2nd. It is suggested that you do not plan a return flight home before 12 Noon.
• Travel Insurance
Every year we have a few unfortunate passengers who do not purchase trip cancellationinsurance and find themselves in an unavoidable situation forcing them to cancel thecruise. • Onboard Dining Options
In addition to the Main Dining Room, breakfast, lunch and dinner are also served buffet style in the Lido Café. The Pizzeria is open 24 hours. There is also a gourmet dining experience offered in Nick and Nora’s Supper Club for an additional cost of $30.00 per person. (Advance reservations for the Supper Club may be made online once we are within 30 days of departure.) Room service is also available 24 hours.
*Please note that the Bacchus Dining Room (the main dining room) will be open seating. You may select either Early Seating at 6:00PM or Late Seating at 8:15PM, show up with your dinner guests that you wish to be seated, and you will be directed to a suitable table. Slacks, shorts and other causal wear are always acceptable attire in the evening, although many prefer to dress in after-five attire in keeping with the upscale ambiance of the ship’s main dining room. The Captain’s Gala Dinner and the Farewell Dinner are dressier evenings; however, jacket and tie are not required.
• Special Diets
Please note that since this cruise is open seating, it is your responsibility to notify the Maitre D’ and/or waiter of any special diet, each time you dine. Vegetarian, low-fat, low-cholesterol, low-carbohydrate, low-sugar, gluten-free, and kosher options are available at each meal.
• Miscellaneous
Robes, hair dryers, beach towels and self-serve mini-fridges are available in all staterooms. Towels are also readily available throughout the ship. Always place a towel between your bare bottom and the ships furnishings.
• Cruise Tickets and Shore Excursions
Approximately one month prior to the cruise departure we will mail your unique booking number that will allow you to access Carnival’s website where you will be able to complete your Fun Pass registration, print luggage tags, and view and purchase shore excursions. If you do not have internet access, you can still complete your Fun Pass upon check in at the cruise terminal and shore excursions will also be available for purchase onboard the ship.
• Communication at Sea
Shore-to-Ship CommunicationFriends and family may call guests on board via Sea Mobile Shore-to-Ship telephoneservice. The rate is $9.50 per minute from the United States; additional long distancecharges may apply from outside the United States.

• Alcoholic Beverages Brought Onboard
Bringing Alcohol On Board -Embarkation Day:
Guests are prohibited from bringing alcoholic beverages on board. However, at thebeginning of the cruise during embarkation day, guests (21 years of age and older) may bring on board one bottle (750ml) of wine or champagne, per person, only in their carryon luggage. A $10 corkage fee per bottle will be charged should you wish to consume this wine in the main dining room; $14 corkage fee per bottle in the steakhouse. (Acorkage fee is a charge exacted at a restaurant for every bottle of liquor served that wasnot bought on the premises)
On embarkation day, guests may bring a small quantity (package of 12 per person) of non-alcoholic beverages onboard, only in their carry-on luggage.
All alcohol/hard liquor/beer (sealed, unopened bottles/cans), wine/champagne over theallowable 1-bottle per guest (sealed, unopened bottles) or excessive quantities of nonalcoholic beverages (over 12 per person, sealed, unopened bottles/cans) will be confiscated and stored for safekeeping until the end of the voyage. The retained item(s)will be available for collection in onboard designated location on the morning ofdebarkation. Unsealed liquids that are prohibited will be discarded, as well as any unclaimed items left after the voyage, and no compensation will be given in either case.
Ports-of-Call:
Alcoholic beverages of any kind purchased in any Port-of-Call will be retained at the gangway, stored on board and held by Carnival until the end of the voyage.
