Welcome Aboard!

You may be wondering what a Bare Necessities vacation is like. On our cruises we charter the entire ship so everyone on-board, except in the main dining room, is clothes-free.

This also means that formal wear is not required at any time, which provides for a much more relaxed environment than a "textile" cruise... and less luggage! Besides the clothes-free aspect of our charters, we provide an experience customized for our clientele.

Workshops and Speakers

You will find a variety of workshops, speakers and classes that will both enrich and inspire you. In addition to what the cruise line offers we implement our own programs and offer you opportunities to participate in classes, sit in on lectures and get involved in workshops that are exclusive to Bare Necessities cruises. All of our presenters bring with them the interest in sharing with you what they do best.

The Perfect Massage

Let us put you into full relaxation mode with a massage by one of our own therapists. Over the past twenty-one years, Bare Necessities cruises have been blessed with a personal massage staff that is second to none. Each therapist is a trained professional with a signature style. All fully licensed in their home states, they are ready to treat your tense and sore muscles to a perfect manipulation. If you are used to spa treatments where you are draped for modesty and gluteus maxima are considered too rude to touch, it is time to discover what you've been missing.

Theme Nights

We also host a multitude of different theme nights on-board such as "Fire & Ice Ball", "Under the Sea Costume Party", or "Undress to Kill: James Bond Night", among many others. And believe me, you won't want to miss our passenger talent shows.
